Plain Boiled Rice

Ingredients

bullet 2 cup of rice (most common is American long grain)
bullet Same amount of water
bullet   ½ tsp of vegetable oil

How to Cook

  1. Wash and rinse rice thoroughly.
  2. Place rice into saucepan and add water.
  3. Bring to boil, add oil.
  4. Reduce heat to very low, cover and cook for a further 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat but keeping pan covered, leave to stand for approx. 10 minutes.
  6. Loosen rice and serve.
